Flora

I love all kinds of plants.  Flowers, trees, grasses ... I love them all.  I enjoy gardening and even find weeding to be relaxing.  While flora make great subjects for paintings, I've found that caring for them competes with time for painting.  So, I've reduced the amount and types of flora in my own yard; it's a balance that I'm still working on.  Luckily, I can find interesting subjects for paintings of flora almost anywhere - even in a waiting room.  [Click on each picture to enlarge it and see information about the painting.]
